Yurra is seeking experienced Finance Officer to commence on a permanent contract in our busy office in Gap Ridge, Karratha WA.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Processing end-to-end payroll
  • Preparation of tax returns and BAS preparation
  • General ledger, fixed asset register, profit and loss maintenance
  • End of month closing processes
  • Account reconciliations
  • Ad hoc duties as required
To be considered for these positions you must possess the following as a minimum:
  • Australian C-Class Driver’s License
  • Payroll experience spanning at least 3+ years with experience managing an end to end process
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in high-volume bookkeeping role
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills
  • Experience with MYOB Advanced (essential)
  • Medium ERP or CRM system experience
  • High-level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven communication skills and a professional email etiquette
  • The ability to think outside the box, be a team player, and work in a dynamic team environment
  • Remarkable attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to easily learn new systems
  • Familiar with rostering, Awards rates and leave entitlement for shift workers
  • Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
