The City of Karratha is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Fleet & Plant Supervisor, seeking a challenging and rewarding career to join our Fleet & Plant team. This position is based in Karratha, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Fleet & Plant Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the Fleet & Plant team in maintaining Council’s fleet, plant, equipment and workshop in its optimum operating condition. As well as supervising the day-to-day workshop operations, this position is also responsible for carrying out proactive service and maintenance programs.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A relevant Trade Certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience with maintenance of heavy trucks and other earthmoving equipment
  • A current HR driver’s licence (HC or MC desirable)
  • Provide First Aid Certificate
  • A National (or Federal) Police Certificate no more than 6 months old
