About the Role
YMCA WA is currently seeking a full time, Qualified Early Childhood Educator for our Tambrey Early Learning Centre in Karratha. The successful applicant will possess a passion for high quality care and education.
Duties
- Record observations of individual children or groups
- Develop and implement a program that reflects children’s interest, development, culture and the YMCA’s Approach to Learning
- Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
- Maintain a safe and hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre
- Create positive relationships with children and families and team members
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent
- HLTAID004 First Aid and Police National Clearance Certificate, Working with Children check
- Good communication skills both written and interpersonal
- Enthusiasm , commitment and desire to work in Early Childhood Education and care
- Remote Allowance paid
- Experience in Reggio Emilia inspired centre
