About the Role

YMCA WA is currently seeking a full time, Qualified Early Childhood Educator for our Tambrey Early Learning Centre in Karratha. The successful applicant will possess a passion for high quality care and education.

Duties

• Record observations of individual children or groups
• Develop and implement a program that reflects children’s interest, development, culture and the YMCA’s Approach to Learning
• Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
• Maintain a safe and hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre
• Create positive relationships with children and families and team members

Skills and Experience

• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent
• HLTAID004 First Aid and Police National Clearance Certificate, Working with Children check
• Good communication skills both written and interpersonal
• Enthusiasm , commitment and desire to work in Early Childhood Education and care
